Miles inherited just two players from the 2007 roster, and as a result the program struggled immensely. In 1995, Miles left to accept his first head coaching job at NAIA II Mayville State. He worked as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW electrical union 363, where he taught apprenticeship. He achieved the rank of Major in the US Army Reserves, and earlier in life served in the Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Samson, as well as the National Guard. He graduated from Marlboro High School and received his Associate's degree at Dutchess Community College. He was born in Rockville Centre, Long Island, the son of James C. ![]() Timothy James Poulin, longtime resident of Marlboro, New York, passed away on the night of December 25.
